  6. Rest days. While back to back days of intense exercising won't compromise your strength, after two days some athletes may experience reduced levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines. These are the proteins that are produced by your white blood cells which allow you to fight off illness and infection. So, be sure to incorporate those rest days and active recovery workouts into your schedule.

  7. Intermittent fasting. If you haven't yet incorporated some variety of Intermittent fasting into your routine, you definitely need to do your research on this one. Unless you have no desire to prolong your life or regenerate new immune system cells.
